AUSactive - changes to Professional Development

AUSactive now acknowledge engagement and completion of education or professional development activities as ‘Continuing Professional Development' or ‘CPD', previously referred to as Continuing Education Credits (CECs). Professionals with AUSactive CECs on course/program certificates will simply be identified as CPD points. Read More Here

Participation rates in non-organised activities such as running, walking, and gyms have all risen over the past decade. The growth of the fitness industry is reflected in the sale of fitness equipment and sports fashion. Health Partners backs exercise professionals through new partnership with AUSactive

AUSactive is proud to announce a new agreement with Health Partners that recognises eligible AUSactive Personal Trainers and fitness businesses as approved providers. Health Partners, a proud not-for-profit health fund, has been supporting South Australians for more than 85 years. The agreement means eligible Health Partners members may now be able to claim benefits for personal training sessions, classes and gym memberships under their Extras policy when part of a medically necessary health management plan. New Mental Health App Provides Support For Australians

A new mental health app, Supportive Mind, has officially launched as part of a collaboration between global tech leader Infosys and the Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA).
